preparing for launch

We are weeks away, (maybe less) from publicly launching the very first Galileo Tea product … T1: Apple Mint.

I’m PUMPED.

Galileo Tea has been almost two years in the making. With countless tasting experiments and tea blending sessions. Twisting and turning, evolving from one concept to the next.

There’s so many exciting things coming. I’ve retyped this blog post like 5 times now because I don’t even know where to begin …

The first product we are launching is a unique (and rare) type of mint called Apple Mint. It’s a delicate, fruity, floral and sweet flavor profile.

This tea is light, nuanced, cozy and new. For the refined tea drinker.

An all day sipper. It’s just dried mint leaves and stems. No caffeine. I find it very relaxing and nostalgic. An easy drinker and second sipper. Your mug will be empty before you know it.

Our Apple Mint will cost $17 and come in a pouch with 12 tea bags.

The fancy kind of tea bags. These tea pyramids are designed for maximum waterflow and leaf infusion and minimal environmental impact. They are rated compostable (even the string and tag) and are not made from petrochemicals or nylon like classic teabags. Our teabags are made from a new plant-based fiber.

My favorite part about this whole discovery and launch process behind Apple Mint was meeting Wendy, the owner of Misty Meadows Farm. She pours her soul into her herbal institute and it’s so impressive. I’m honored to be able to work with them and source their prized Apple Mint for this first tea. The joy it brought her to know so many people will be enjoying the herb she loves so much (and has been growing for 30 years!!) made me so excited to bring this product to reality.

Ok … time to get back to work. I’ve got this website to finish up. Packing to order. Photoshoots to arrange … LAUNCH is around the corner :) I’m so excited. Thanks to everyone following this journey.
